Find out how I do my makeup on a day-to-day basis!
I thought I’d go ahead and do my first tutorial/makeup look post! So, this is my go-to everyday make-up look. It’s full coverage but still very natural and not too over the top. I wear this look most days – to work, shopping, meeting up with friends etc.
Step One – Primer – Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer
Step Two – Conceal blemishes – Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer in Ivory (001)
Step Three – Foundation – Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Ivory (100) – applied with a damp Beauty Blender
Step Four – Contour – the bronzing colour from the Sleek Face Form Palette in Light – applied below the cheekbones with the Sigma Large Angled Contour brush (F40) and on the sides of the nose and below the bottom lip with the Sigma Tapered Blending brush (E40)
Step Five – Highlight – The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer – applied to the cheekbones, ridge of nose and high parts of forehead with a Revlon blush brush
Step Six – Blush – ‘Cider’ from The Balm ‘How ’bout Them Apples’ cheek and lip tint pallet – applied with the Sigma Duo Fibre brush (F50)
Step Seven – Set – Essence Fix & Matte Translucent Loose Powder – Dabbed all over the face with the Sigma Large Powder brush (F30)
Step One – Fill in the eyebrows with the Maybelline Master Shape by Eye Studio pencil in Blonde
Step Two – Brush through with the provided spooly
Step Three – Set brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
Step One – Brighten under-eye – apply a small amount of Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Brightener below the eyes and dab in with the Sigma Concealer brush (F70)
Step Two – Prime Eyelids – Apply the Australis Eyeshadow primer all over the lid with finger
Step Three – Highlight brow bone with the Sigma Highlighting Pencil (I use a combination of both shades)
Step Four – Eyeshadow – Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette – Apply the shade BootyCall all over the lids to the eyebrow with the Sigma Eye Shading brush (E55). Then, apply the shade ‘Tease’ to the outer corner of each eye with the Sigma Medium Angled Shading Brush (E70). Then, Apply the shade ‘Half Baked’ across the eyelid with the E55 brush. Then, apply the shade ‘Chopper’ to the centre of the eyelid using the E55 again. Blend in with the Tapered Blending Brush (E40).
Step Five – Eyeliner – Apply the Teeez Cosmetics Mysterious Crystal Eyeliner in Onyx Black to the lower waterline and top lash line
Step Six – Mascara – Apply the Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara to the top and bottom lashes, using the relevant end of the product. I then go over this on the top lashes with the Benefit They’re Real Mascara for added length.
Step One – Lip Liner – Essence Lip Liner in 07 Cute Pink
Step Two – Lipstick – Bloom Cosmetics Lipstick in Princess
Step Three – Lipgloss – Apply the NYX Butter Gloss in Merengue to the centre of the lips
And we’re done!
